Come join us for a fantastic summer research experience! Since the summer of 2009, students have worked on topics from geometry and knot theory, although our program has been running since 2001 (when it also included projects in combinatorics). For a detailed description of this Summer's program, complete with information about stipends, dates, and links to application forms, click here. To get an idea of what previous participants have done, Check out some samples of student work. Also, please consider looking at this document which aims to give you an idea about what we look for in our participants, in the hopes it helps you put together a great application. In addition to the fun of studying math every day, we interact with several other programs on campus, and introduce you to what a possible career in mathematics and research could look like. Our most common response when asked about our program is that participants "learn how to do real math research," and that they "have a lot of fun." Look at some photos from previous years (our website is being updated, please come back for more recent pictures once we've had a chance to upload some). For more information click on the above links or contact one of our directors: Dr. Dunn or Dr. Trapp.
