Come join us for
a fantastic summer research experience! For almost a decade, students
have been studying geometry, combinatorics and knot
theory at Cal State San Bernardino, in sunny Southern California. Thanks to generous funding from
the National Science Foundation and CSUSB, we will again offer an REU program during the Summer of 2013. Students will work
on topics from geometry and knot theory. For a detailed description of our
summer 2013 program, complete with information about stipends, dates, and links
to application forms, click here .
To get an idea of what previous participants have done, Check out some samples of student
work. In addition to the fun of studying math every day, we take
regular field trips ranging from educational to recreational. Look at
some photos from a couple trips we've
taken--we are in the process of adding more photos all the time. For more information click on the above links
or contact Dr. Corey Dunn . The
REU Program at CSUSB has been made possible by NSF-REU grants DMS-9987955,
DMS-0139426, DMS-0453605,
DMS-0850959, and DMS-1156608 as well as the generous support of
California State University, San Bernardino. This website does not necessarily reflect the views of the NSF.
