Departmental Honors
The department faculty will determine whether a student is to be awarded departmental honors upon graduation. The criteria will be:1. A grade point average of at least 3.5 in all mathematics courses taken at this university and counted toward fulfilling requirements of the mathematics major.
2. At least four units of MATH 595. Independent Study, completed with a grade of "A-" or better, and culminating in a presentation to the department.
