Truth Table Practice

This page generates random truth table problems involving two simple statements P and Q. The three right columns are initially left blank for you to fill in with values of T or F for the compound statement on the left, the center connective and the compound statement on the right, respectively. These values are alternately switched between T and F by clicking in the table.

• The "submit" button will check your answers and respond with "correct" or "incorrect." This only checks the main column of the table, the center connective.
  
• The "answer" button will reveal the truth values for the table, if you wish to see them.
  
• The "new problem" button generates a new problem and clears the table.
  
• The "reset" button clears the table but keeps the same problem. Use this if you received an "incorrect" to your submission and you would like to try again before revealing the answers.
