Foreign participants must have a B-1 visa for getting any reimbursement for travel related expenses; a B-2 visa or a tourist visa is not good enough. When getting into the U.S., you must insist on getting a B-1 visa! Please let us know if you need a letter of invitation in order to facilitate your obtaining a B-1 visa.
