I organize the "Problem of the Month" competition here at CSUSB. Each month during the academic year I will post a problem, and the most elegant solution wins a $10 gift certificate from the bookstore. All solutions should be turned in to Dr. Dunn, or slid under his door during the current month's problem. Here's this month's problem:
