ATTENDANCE:            ATTENDANCE is REQUIRED.  Tardiness is inexcusable.
                       For each unexcused absence, 25 points will be deducted 
                       from your total point count. Documentation is required for
                       each excused absence. Roll is taken every class day.
      
                                  
HOMEWORK:              Reading and problem assignments will be given at the 
                       end of each class session.  At least 4 hours of study    
                       time is needed to  prepare for each class period.  
                       Homework will not be collected. You will be quizzed on
                       the homework. Cheating is not tolerated.
                       

QUIZZES:               The 5 best quiz scores will be used for your quiz grade.
                       Each quiz is worth 20 points.
                       Quiz dates will be announced in class.
       
                             
GRADES:                 Grades will be computed by the point system.
                               
                                2 exams = 300 points         % of total points
                              5 quizzes = 100 points        90 -  100%     A
                               1 final  = 150 points        80 -    89%    B       
                                 total  = 550 points        70 -    79%    C   
                                                            below  70%    NC
